Jewellery Arabia, the largest and most prestigious jewellery exhibition took place from the 19th – 23rd of November at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. The 28th edition is held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
For 5 consecutive days, visitors got to experience various trends, treasures and all-time exclusives for some of the world-famous brands from more than 550 leading manufacturers from around 30 nations.
Spanning 21,000 square meters of exhibition space, a huge array of jewellery, watches, gems and luxury accessories went on sale to members of the public and trade. 55,000 visitors attended the 5-day event.
The exhibition provides a direct access and builds a two-end successful network where the world’s most famous international jewellery houses, watch manufacturers and high-profile designers get to introduce their new collections and limited-edition pieces to the Middle East collector’s market. Distinguished jewellery and watch houses were present at this year’s edition. Some of these brands included AlZain jewellery, Asia jewelers, Heinz Mayer, AlMahmood pearls and many more.
National groups attended from some of the leading jewellery export countries and unique delegations of the finest retailers, designers and manufacturers from China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Russia and many more. These delegations along with the other participating groups express and reflect the best design expertise as well as the best manufacturing capabilities in their respective countries. Visitors also enjoyed free-to-attend seminars that are hosted by some of the world’s foremost authority on gemology, the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

It has been around since 1992, and has become a crucial platform that brings together international jewellery houses, and connects them to trade buyers and private collectors from throughout this important economic sector. Jewellery Arabia connects various countries within this sector from 20+ countries. Through this exclusive event, Bahrain is highlighted as the leader to host and showcase exclusive collections, and limited editions to the Middle East collector’s market.
Jewellery Arabia partnered up for the first time with Careem which offered visitors special discounts to and from the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre making their visit more enjoyable and hassle-free.
In addition to this year’s new developments - the first ever mobile app was launched for attendees. The visitors will have the ability to search for specific jewellery brands. In addition, a 3D map is uploaded helping them to move around smoothly.
